Tradition wants it of Tuscan origin, born in Arezzo by restaurateur Guido Samorini who decided to amaze his comensals with a special dessert. The result was explosive: a cake with a genuine and enveloping taste, made with simple ingredients and imbued with familiar home feeling. It was called “grandma’s cake”.
